The Dig House

The buildings which house the mission are found near the site, in the village of Taşlık. In a large area surrounded by a stone wall there are three separate building: one housing the dormitories, dining and work room and the kitchen, a small house with bathrooms and the temporary storeroom for archaeological finds and a third small building for storing water. Plans to extend the complex, currently awaiting approval by the Turkish authorities, foresee the construction of a storehouse for archaeological materials, restoration and drawing laboratories, and a series of houses along the perimeter wall to provide accommodation for some members of the mission.
